About Telma 40 Tablet
Telma 40 Tablet contains Telmisartan 40 mg. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It is used to treat high blood pressure and to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in certain people at high risk. It relaxes blood vessels so blood flows more easily. It is usually taken once a day and needs to be taken long term, even when you feel well.

How to use
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed, usually once a day at the same time, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
How it works
Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. This lets blood vessels relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure.
