About Dydrogesterone 10 mg Tablet

Dydrogesterone 10 mg Tablet contains Dydrogesterone 10 mg. Dydrogesterone is a man-made hormone similar to progesterone, a natural female hormone. It is used for several conditions linked to low progesterone, such as irregular or painful periods, endometriosis and some pregnancy-related problems. It is also used with oestrogen in hormone replacement therapy. It is not a contraceptive.

Uses of Dydrogesterone 10 mg Tablet

  • Irregular, heavy or painful periods caused by hormone imbalance
  • Endometriosis
  • Threatened or repeated miscarriage linked to low progesterone, as advised by a doctor
  • Support for the womb lining during fertility treatment
  • Protecting the womb lining in hormone replacement therapy, together with oestrogen

Benefits

In period problems and endometriosis

It helps regulate the womb lining, which can make periods more regular and reduce pain and heavy bleeding.
