About Fucidin Cream
Fucidin Cream contains Fusidic Acid 2%. Fusidic acid cream is an antibiotic applied to the skin. It is used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo and infected cuts, wounds or eczema, especially those caused by Staphylococcus bacteria. It is usually used for a short time, as advised by the doctor, to help stop bacteria becoming resistant.

How to use
Use it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Wash your hands, gently clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer of cream. You may cover it with a light dressing if advised. Wash your hands afterwards. Keep it away from the eyes.

If you miss a dose
If you miss an application, apply it when you remember. If it is nearly time for the next one, skip the missed one. Do not apply extra to make up.
Quick tips
- Use it only for as long as your doctor advises; long or repeated use can make bacteria resistant.
- See your doctor if the infection does not improve within a few days or spreads.
- Wash your hands before and after applying it, and do not share towels, to avoid spreading infection.
- Keep it away from the eyes.
