About Eno Fruit Salt Regular Sachet
Eno Fruit Salt Regular Sachet contains Sodium Bicarbonate + Citric Acid (effervescent). This is a fizzy antacid powder that you dissolve in water. It gives quick, short-term relief from acidity, heartburn and indigestion by neutralising stomach acid. It contains a fair amount of sodium (salt), so it is not suitable for regular use in some people.

How to use
Use it as the label or your doctor advises. Empty the sachet into a glass of water, stir and drink it while it is fizzing. Do not take more than the maximum number of sachets in a day.
How it works
When mixed with water, the ingredients form a fizzy solution. The sodium bicarbonate is an alkali that neutralises acid in the stomach.

Interactions with other medicines
Tell your doctor and pharmacist about every medicine, vitamin and herbal product you take.
| Medicine | What can happen |
|---|---|
| Many other medicines (such as some antibiotics, iron and thyroid tablets) | Antacids can reduce how well they are absorbed; keep them about 2 hours apart |
| Blood pressure and heart failure medicines | The extra sodium may work against them |
| Lithium | Sodium can lower lithium levels |
