About Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule

Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule contains Aspirin 75 mg + Atorvastatin 10 mg. This combination is used to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with heart disease or at high risk of it. Low-dose aspirin makes blood clots less likely to form, and atorvastatin lowers cholesterol. It is usually taken once a day for the long term.

Uses of Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule

  • Prevention of heart attack and stroke in people with heart or blood vessel disease
  • High cholesterol in people who also need low-dose aspirin

How to use

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed, usually once a day, after food. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew it.

How it works

Aspirin stops platelets from sticking together and forming clots. Atorvastatin blocks an enzyme in the liver that makes cholesterol, lowering 'bad' (LDL) cholesterol in the blood.
