About Atarax 25 Tablet
Atarax 25 Tablet contains Hydroxyzine 25 mg. Hydroxyzine is a sedating antihistamine. It is used for short-term relief of anxiety and to relieve itching caused by allergic skin conditions such as hives and eczema. It often causes drowsiness.

How to use
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed, for the shortest time needed. Swallow the tablet with water; it can be taken with or without food.

Alcohol Unsafe
Avoid alcohol. It greatly increases drowsiness.
Pregnancy Unsafe
It should not be used in pregnancy, especially early pregnancy. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Unsafe
It is not recommended while breastfeeding. Ask your doctor for another option.
Driving Caution
It often causes drowsiness and slows reactions. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.
Kidney Caution
Your doctor may lower the dose if you have kidney disease.
Liver Caution
Your doctor may lower the dose if you have liver disease.
If you miss a dose
If you miss a dose, take it when you remember if you still need it. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not take two doses together.
